Sign a PDF

Add your signature and download the finished PDF. Everything happens on this device—your file is never uploaded to us.

How to sign a PDF

  1. Choose the PDF you need to sign.
  2. Draw, type, or upload your signature.
  3. Place and resize it on the document, then download your signed PDF.

Your PDF stays private. The document and your signature are read and modified inside your browser. Neither is uploaded to No Fuss PDF.

Questions about signing PDFs

Is it really free?

Yes. There is no payment, trial, account, watermark, page limit, or surprise at download.

Do I need an account?

No. Open the tool, sign your document, and download it.

Is my PDF uploaded?

No. PDF rendering and modification happen locally in your browser. Our analytics record basic actions such as “download completed,” but never receive your file, filename, document text, metadata, or signature.

Can I sign on my phone?

Yes. You can draw with your finger, type a signature, or choose a signature image, then drag and resize it with touch.

Can I use a signature I already have?

Yes. Upload a PNG or JPEG signature image. It is processed locally and can be reused on several pages of the open document.

Is this a certificate-backed digital signature?

No. This tool adds the visible signature you create to the PDF. It does not create a cryptographic certificate signature. If a recipient specifically requires certificate validation, use a certificate-based signing service.
